Just as an apple tree thrives from cross-pollination, Liberty Hyde Bailey’s cottage will thrive from a multi-dimensional approach to historic preservation and contemporary interpretation. Through a curated display of artifacts and descriptive historical signage within the cottage’s interior, visitors will experience Bailey’s life in its authentic, natural setting. As visitors discover life in the 1900s, the hope is that they will learn from and appreciate Bailey’s legacy and then apply that knowledge and experience to their own lives.
